A photo taken near the Kaiser-Brucke (Kaiser Bridge) on the
Lahn River in Bad Ems about 200 yards from where General Maraist is seen with
the civilians. The Villa Quisisana is in front of the bridge.
The new "Kaiser-Bridge" in Bad Ems. The bridge
was blown up March 25, 1945 by German troops to slow US advances. The
building in front is a new one but bears the same name as the
old villa.
